Happy National Signing Day 2013- We Are Penn State!

I encourage Penn Staters everywhere to dress head to toe in blue and white today in honor of National Signing Day 2013. While I have considered Christian Hackenberg and Adam Breneman both Nittany Lions since verbally committing to Penn State last spring, today I will officially welcome them as the newest members of my Nittany Lion family. Quarterback recruit Hackenberg is #7 on the 2013 Top 100 Prospect list (courtesy of 247sports.com). Tight end Adam Breneman comes in at #48. Hackenberg and Breneman are just two of O’Brien’s Lions that will be signing. Other names to note are Garrett Sickels, Jordan Smith, Anthony Smith, Zayd Issah, and Andrew Nelson- to name a few. Today, in honor of the newest members of our Nittany Lion family, I will be sporting all of my Penn State football gear and strongly suggest you do the same.     In the end, despite the disappointment, Penn State proved they could absolutely go toe to toe #1 Oregon. Had the Nittany Lions played cleaner, the outcome may well have been in our favor. Our team never stopped battling, not even when they were down 28-10. They could have let Oregon put the game away at that point, but they proved their resilience and their right to belong among the best in the nation.
